Skin Brightening

5

I've been using this product for 3 weeks and can see the brightening effects. It does go on a bit tacky but I followed the advice of other reviewers and let it sink in for about 15 minutes before applying other products. It's a good Vitamin C serum for the price. I keep it stored in the refrigerator and haven't noticed any color change.

My new fav!

5

I'm obsessed with vitamin C and can't go a a day without it. I was happy to find Paula's Choice C15 Booster because I'm fan of her brand and I truly think it helped with my hyper-pigmentation. It's not too harsh if you're used to daily vitamin C usage so I was able to put it straight on my face. I will definitely keep this in my rotation.

So far, so good!

5

I've only been using this for a couple of weeks so I think it's still too soon to know for sure, but I love how this product feels on my skin and how a little goes a long way! My skin feels instantly more hydrated, but I haven't really noticed any radiance or anything yet.

Cost effective

This product is a good vitamin C serum at a good price. The Skinceuticals CE Ferrulic is my holy grail vitamin C because it doesn't leave my skin quite as tacky as this one. However, I will continue to purchase this Paula's Choice one because the price is right and it does a good job resolving my pigmentation.

Affordable Vitaminc C product

5

This Vitamin C product is a lovely and affordable alternative to more expensive Vitamin C products. The scent is light and pleasant and the product is easily absorbed into the skin. I have been using it for a short time but can see a difference in the lightening of some of my acne scars and the overall brightening of my complexion. I have expectations for great results with prolonged use.

Sticky and Shiny

5

I've used multiple other Vitamin C products, and my biggest complaint was that others have been sticky and left a tacky texture on my skin. I tried Paula's Choice because of it's reputation, and this Vit C serum also had Ferulic acid and Vitamin E, which not all others have. Unfortunately, this serum was incredibly disappointing. When I received it, it was already yellowed, indicating it had already begun oxidizing. And it leaves an incredibly sticky feeling and shiny, shiny look that makes me look like I've been sweating in a sauna. My normal moisturizer and makeup could not cover this sheen. I tried mixing the serum with moisturizer and layering another serum between this and the moisturizer, but nothing worked. Very disappointed, not sure how people wear this serum out without feeling self-conscious or uncomfortably sticky. Didn't see any results because I could only use this product for a week before I couldn't take it anymore.

I really like this Vitamin C serum! it's light, not sticky, and goes on really well under my daily sunscreen. It's gentle but leaves my skin looking bright and feeling soft.

Is Paula's Choice vitamin C as good as SkinCeuticals?

Bottom Line: If this and Paula's Choice Resist C15 were the same price, I would choose Skinceuticals because they have done efficacy and stability testing.
