As you dig through ruins and craft equipment to travel further, the story behind the demise of their world will slowly unfold through the artifacts you find. An emotional experience that's as much about loneliness and letting go as it is about rockets, OPUS: Rocket of Whispers captivates from start to finish. It's darker and bleaker than its predecessor, and scavenging for rocket parts isn't as immediately appealing as stargazing, but it's still every bit the affecting combination of narrative and gameplay that defined The Day We Found Earth. If you like curling up with a good book as much as sitting down with a good game, Rocket of Whispers is a perfect way to spend an enjoyable afternoon. Read full review Rocket of Whispers is a beautiful journey into a bleak world. There's a great story to be told here, and it's a pleasure to uncover. This simple, story-driven game is well made and enjoyable while it lasts. Read full review Don't come into Opus: Rocket of Whispers expecting some sort of hardcore survival simulation or captivating pushing-buttons experience, or you'll probably wind up disappointed. No, Rocket of Whispers is something much better: a game that uses its simple game loop, repetitiveness and all, to tell a familiar but sincere story about loneliness and coping with grief. Read full review All in all, Opus: Rocket of Whispers offers a long game that has a lot of mindless fetch quests, but it has an interesting story that might reel some folks in. If you're looking for a calming, easy game to pass the time, give it a shot. Otherwise, maybe let this one go. Read full review The story that OPUS: Rocket of Whispers has to tell is a meaningful one, that touches on mental health issues such as loneliness, dealing with grief and low self-esteem. It is clear to see that it is a game that has been created from the heart, and, while much of it will be spent scavenging for rocket parts, it is the message that it imparts that will linger in your memory for a long time to come. Read full review Overall, if you’re down for a pretty touching story of people under stress but doing their best in an admittedly horrible situation it makes for a compelling handful of hours. Any expectations of the gameplay itself being satisfying should be checked at the door, for the most part it is just exploration with the job of helping advance the narrative. Despite that fact I still found the game’s story compelling enough to see me through to the end and appreciated everything it was trying to convey. Embark on a heartwarming journey! It is so happy that you like it :) We will keep on making heartful games in the future. Again, thank you very much for your huge support! Love this game💗💗💗I loved this game from the start the backstory all ways left you with a need for more! I loved exploring the new terrain and learning about the ghosts pasts. One thing that bothered me though was the way it ended, don't get me wrong I LOVED the game, but I wish they told me more about john's parents. And I also am dieting to know more about Fie's andJohn's past. Another thing that I wanted to learn more about was where is everyone else like I feel like they could have dived into that more so we aren’t just relying on vague flash backs. We should also learn more about the witch society and where they came from. And I also feel like they shouldn't have had that many rocket crashes and malfunctions. But other than that I love this game so much, still I hope the people that make the game would consider making a sequel please! 👏💗💗 Hello Hema, thank you very much for your support the game! It is very happy to know that you like it very much. We will maybe tell the informations of the story more at our other OPUS series games in the future, but if you want to know more infomations right now, you can try to read the stories of the landmarks carefully in "OPUS: Rocket of Whispers", or maybe you can try our last game "OPUS: The day we found earth", it will give you other hints of the world of OPUS. Again, thanks for playing "OPUS: Rocket of Whispers" and have a very high opinion of it! Wish you can also enjoy the other games of OPUS series in the future. :) Potential for moreI was sucked in by the intriguing intro to the game, and purchased the full version with pets and soul stone bonus. I'd say it's worth the base price of $1.99, but the extra two bucks for bonus pets isn't worth it, they don't do anything. I thought they would be more involved in the main character's journey, or be more interactive, so it was disappointing.
