Fix lỗi can find account with that email and password năm 2024

If you aren't receiving your password-assistance email, please follow the steps below:

  1. Check your inbox for an email with the subject line "Google Verification Code." If you don't use Gmail, check the inbox of the email address you use to sign in to your account. If you use Gmail, check the inbox of the recovery email address you provided when you signed up for Gmail. If you didn't provide a recovery email address, you can try another way to recover your account.
    • You'll be asked some questions to confirm it's your account. Answer as best you can.
    • If you're having trouble, try the tips to complete account recovery steps.
  2. Check your Spam or Bulk Mail folders. It's possible that the email we tried to send you was caught by a spam or bulk mail filter in your email system. Look for an email from Google with the subject line "Google Verification Code." If you don't find the email in these folders, add [email protected] to your address book, and request another password-assistance email.
  3. Still haven't received the email? Contact your email provider. If you still haven't gotten a password-reset link after adding "[email protected]" to your address book or spam filter's allowlist, contact your email provider. Let them know that you can't get mail from the address "[email protected]."

If you have enabled two-step verification and forgotten your password, you need access to at least two of the following based on your account settings:

  • Your account email
  • Your account phone
  • Adobe Account Access app

If you can't access at least two of these methods, you won't be able to access your account. Our recommendation is to create a new account.

good day, trying to re-add Mail account but get continuously the above message. I have checked and confirmed passwords etc. and everything works on other apple products. all the suggestions I see relate to an existing mail account however i had removed my mail account with the idea to re-install it. But cannot.

I am convinced that it has something to do with keychain but I cannot solve this, after hours of trying everything I could find.

Appreciate any help folks.

For any readers who may be experiencing the same issues as myself perhaps this is of use; (thanks to Simon Cox)

The process to recover your OSX Mac Mail and Internet Accounts from the ‘Unable to verify account name or password' issue.

Open your email account in system preferences

Choose the email account to verify

Note that your password field is blank

Fill in the password

Press Tab to move to the next field (Important!)

Enjoy your email life

Unfortunately as I had already deleted the troublesome mail account I could not use this solution. Still looking for a solution.

Ok, thanks for the additional information.

Two things:

  1. Double-check your macOS Keychain to be sure that it does not contain an outdated set of login credentials for this mail account. If it does, delete the entry in the Keychain. If not, go on to the next item.
  2. Completely remove (if it still exists,) and then, add back the problematic email account in the Mail app.

Which email provider are you having issues logging in to? Did you enable two-factor authentication security with them? Can you access this email account successfully using a web browser or with another device using these same login credentials?
