Do/ Does và Dont/ Doesnt là trợ động từ dùng cho thì hiện tại đơn [hành động xảy ra ở hiện tại].

• Do/ Dontđi với các chủ ngữ [Subject] là ngôi thứ 1, 2, 3 số nhiều và danh từ số nhiều: I, we, you, they
• Does/ Doesntđi với các chủ ngữ [Subject] là ngôi thứ 3 số ít và danh từ số ít : she, he, it

Main Verb ở dạng nguyên thể không to [Vd: Does he like?, chứ không dùng Does he likes?]

Is/ Are/Am + Subject + Adj/ noun phrases/ prep phrases?

• is/ isnt đi với các chủ ngữ [subject] ngôi thứ 3 số ít và danh từ số ít: he, she, it.
• are/ arent đi với các chủ ngữ [subject] ngôi thứ 1,2,3 số nhiều và danh từ số nhiều: we, you, they.
• Am đi với chủ ngữ [subject] là I.
