Modern Warfare 2 is officially set to release across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Battle.Net, and Steam. Activision Modern Warfare 2 is set to launch across both previous-gen and current-gen hardware.
Is the new MW going to be on PS4?That's the question about the Call of Duty Sequel that many players who haven't upgraded to the latest PlayStation hardware yet want to know, and the good news is that Activision have already confirmed Modern Warfare 2 will receive a PS4 release at the exact same time as the PS5 version.
Is Modern Warfare playable again 2022?Modern Warfare II was released on October 28, 2022. However, if you pre-ordered digitally, you could start playing the campaign as early as October 20. Both Vanguard and Black Ops Cold War were released in early and mid-November, respectively, so MWII actually hit the market a bit earlier than usual.
