Eucerin hyaluron filler day cream review

I went through a range of emotions when approaching this trial, because at first I wasn’t particularly attracted to the product name, Eucerin. It wasn’t conjuring up any thoughts of smooth wrinkle free skin, and for some reason I kept thinking of mouth washes!

But then when I read the range name, Hyaluron Filler, and any reservations went straight out the window because it suddenly sounded like it meant business. I mean, who could say no to a filler??!

So I’ve used these babies for about 10 days, and I am pleased to say that I am impressed with what I have seen so far.

In fact, I had a meeting to go to yesterday, and I was in a massive rush and hadn’t done any makeup. I had a quick check in the mirror and decided that my skin looked good enough to go without! I had a bit of fake tan (am I ever without it??) but that was it! Yet my skin looked smooth and even and properly hydrated. I have also been getting a fair few compliments too! Yay!

So here’s the low down…

Eucerin Hyaluron Filler Review

You get 6 of these vials in a little presentation box. It’s super cute. Each vial contains enough product for twice daily applications for a week. So you have 6 week’s supply – not bad for 30 quid!

It’s a lovely serum that melts into the skin. I have been pressing it n, rather than rubbing it in, as this ensures that the product sinks in more effectively and you don’t just rub it away. It’s really light and comfortable and I felt that it instantly brightened and smoothed my skin. I really like this.

Again, I am really pleased with this one. It has a nice thickish consistency which I feel my eye area needs. Often I find that eye creams don’t have enough ‘oomph’ and staying power. A lot of them hydrate the area when first applied, but that as the day wears on, the hydration wears out, and my lines become more noticeable.

I haven’t had this problem with the Eucerin Eye Cream at all. It has good staying power and my eye area has stayed moisturised and plumped for longer than quite a few other eye creams I have tried. It also makes a fab base for concealer.

The other important thing to note about the eye cream it that it didn’t irritate my eyes in the slightest. Although I don’t suffer with skin sensitivity in general, my eyes are prone to a bit of streaming and redness. Even the most natural of products can get them going! But I have had no problems with Eucerin. I can safely say that it’s really very gentle. Despite its hardcore name!

Right, I basically love this day cream. It has a lovely kind of whipped, almost spongey texture, slides on really easily and just leaves the skin looking bright, smooth and generally a lot more appealing than before you put it on!

Again a fab base for makeup, but as I said earlier, I have even felt confident enough to skip makeup. Obvs, I look better with the makeup on, but I felt that my pores looked tighter and that my skin appeared firmer in general. It also stayed hydrated all day long. It has SPF15 and the all important UVA protection too. Not much more I want from a Day Cream really.

This has a lovely thick, glossy texture and feels super nourishing. It’s really comfy and soothing. Fabulously moisturising. My skin still looked fresh and hydrated first thing. It is lovely!

Some info about Hyaluron and Saponin (the science bit!)…
