9. hey guys, you can replace the userdata in Program Data, it is a hidden folder in your Drive C. Or you can just type %programdata% in your run command. Then go to PopCap Games folder, then PlantsVsZombies folder and there you can find the user data folder which you can replace with the downloaded one. Happy gaming! and thanks to the uploader.     C:\ProgramData\PopCap Games\PlantsVsZombies\userdata
    deberan de abrir el juego por primera vez, para que la ruta aparesca.

Currently the Steam version is so messed up that it just blackscreens when I try to play a mode. I want to see if the Origin version is more stable, but I'm having trouble getting the save over. When I copy the files from C:\ProgramData\Steam\PlantsVsZombies\userdata_backup to C:\ProgramData\PopCap Games\PlantsVsZombies\userdata, the game just crashes upon loading. Why isn't it sliding right in? Is there another way?

While I don't know the answer, you might be able to have Origin support help you. They want players to use Origin instead of Steam so it would be in their best interest.

I think your save file might be messed up.

You could use cheat engine and "remake" your old save file.

Do you have uninstalled the Steam version? If not, save your save to any folder, uninstall the game and clean the registry with Ccleaner. After that, reinstall the Origin version and try again.

Just start the game from scratch maybe? It's not really that hard
