The perfect companion to the previously announced stars from Marantz, the PM8005 Integrated Amplifier and the SA8005 SACD Player, Marantz completes the trifecta with the announcement of the NA8005 Network Audio Player and DAC.

According to Marantz, the NA8005 features high-grade digital to analog conversion, network connection for high resolution audio streaming, on board internet radio access, and more.

NA8005 features multiple inputs, including USB-B, Coaxial, Optical digital inputs, and a USB-A port on the front panel for connection to a mobile device or USB storage drive. The NA8500′s network connection supports DLNA 1.5 music streaming from PC and NAS storage devices, and is compatible with MP3, MPEG, WAV, WMA, FLAC, and ALAC with a max resolution of 192kHZ/24bits, or DSD files at 2.8mHz or 5.6mHz. Also accessible are thousands of Internet radio stations, Spotify Connect, and Airplay support.

Wi-Fi support is notably absent, however there are multitudes of wireless extenders with ethernet, that could easily interface with NA8005.
