I went to install VirtualBox today and very early in the install process, while it says copying files it almost immediately switches to "rolling back changes" and I'm told the setup wizard ended prematurely because of an error, though it does not say what this error is. Anyone have guidance on how I can troubleshoot it? Potentially relevant parts of install log:

The problem is with your Windows installer. There could be a number of reasons for the failure, but unfortunately the VirtualBox installation is just the sign, not the underlying cause. Even Microsoft has some tools to fix the installer database. So, you should start treating this as a Windows installer issue.
