I bought this system last year as a stop gap whilst my own amplifier was away getting repaired. I have only ever used the CD player and amplifier as I have no interest in the DVD or radio functions. I briefly tested both the radio and DVD player and all appears well.

It is in a very good condition with only a tiny mark on the faceplate just above the 'E' in 'Classik Movie'.

Apart from the above it still looks really classy and to my ears sounds great. I have owned a few Linn products over the years and always enjoyed the sound they produce.

I do not have the original box or user manual but it does comes complete with the original Linn remote control [very good condition], 4 Linn type speaker connectors and the power lead.

Looking for £230 + postage.

** What appears to be a mark on the lower left of the display is in fact a reflection and not a scratch/mark.**

It's a fair review - I've had a CMS Di for about a year now [having upgraded from the Classic Movie System, now discontinued], and I'm very happy with it. The sound and video does seem to be noticeably better than the original CMS, and the ability to use DPL II on all inputs makes it way superior [literally gives TV audio a new dimension], although high quality stereo music sources are usually better without DPL II processing. Overall performance is superb for such a compact piece of kit, and the tuner has surprised me - on BBC Radio 3 [the classical music channel broadcast at 192Kbps in UK] I sometimes think I'm listening to a CD... The soundstage is broad and the imaging [with Katans] is sharp [my cat can confirm this - he follows the movements - i.e. sounds - of 'invisible' creatures around the soundstage when nature programs are on the TV]. The CMS Di has the kind of sound quality that makes the music seem to come closer when you turn up the volume, instead of sounding 'louder'.

Obviously the upgrade path for such an all-in-one system is likely to be limited, but Linn have a history of reasonably attractive trade-in deals, and with the recent announcement of a new range of AV products including the Unidisk SC [a cut down version of the Unidisk 1.1 universal disk player incorporating pre-amp and processing/decoding], I wouldn't be surprised to see a trade-in deal of CMS Di for Unidisk SC and a 5.1+ amplifier.

Amply công suất 75w/kênh @ 4 Ohm, ghép tốt nhiều loa Châu Âu. Em đang ghép Harbeth P3ESR cho kết quả tốt. Linn vốn nổi tiếng với việc duy trì chất lượng âm thanh hai kênh trên các amply đa kênh của mình nên các cụ dùng hai kênh thoải mái. Nếu chơi đa kênh bằng 2 cặp Katan + center Trikan và Sub Sizmik thì tuyệt vời.

Tình trạng có vài vết trên nắp lưng, xung quanh và mặt tiền đẹp. Có khiển. Em tự ship về và chưa bao giờ mở máy hay sửa chữa gì. Mắt hơi kén đĩa, em thấy nếu cẩn thận lau đĩa trước khi chơi thì dễ nhận hơn. Có lúc thì đĩa nào nhét vào cũng chạy phà phà. Màn hình hơi tối, có lúc thì lại sáng rõ, thường là vào ban ngày, em cũng ko rõ là do có đồng hồ hay cảm biến ẩn trong máy.

Giá em để cho cụ nào yêu em nó là 12tr. Rất tuyệt nếu để phòng ngủ hoặc set up bộ đa kênh phòng nhỏ.
