Why is my laptop not charging more than 95?

"95% available [plugged in, not charging]" -you son of a bitch... from techsupport

When I plug in my laptop, my battery charges up normally until 80%, then it charges slowly to 90-95%
and never goes beyond. But the battery is still charging, it never stops.

It seems that the battery is actually fully charged but the computer doesn't know it. It is very annoying because I cannot let my computer charge overnight [it will keep on charging although the battery is full].

I have tried the battery calibrating thing a couple of times, which is to let the battery go down to 2-3%, turn the laptop off to let the battery cooling down, then charge it up again.

Any suggestions?
