I have overall loved mot of the products from The body shop’s vitamin e range with toner being my absolute favorite till date. Which made me try the The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream as well. It is advertised to cator dry skin and claims 48H moisture retention. This turned out to be the only product I do not like from the range. Keep on reading to know why.

My experience with The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream:
I have sensitive combination skin which tends to get dry patches in winters and oily patches in summer. My skin also gets dehydrated in extreme winters. My experience with The Body shop vitamin E toner, facewash and serum has been good so I have decided to try the moisturiser as well.
The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream comes in a similar baby pink packaging in sync with other products from the range. The moisturiser comes in tub packaging. The texture is very light-weight and it gets absorbed into skin quickly without leaving any greasiness behind.
I loved how it felt on my combination skin in spring and summer. But in winters as the weather started to get colder, it started to feel not-sufficently-moisturizing for dry weather. My skin felt stretchy sometime after applying the moisturiser. My skin felt dehydrated after continuous usage in winters. I had to reapply product within an hour and still my skin felt dehydrated.
Final Verdict: 3.5/5
The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream might be sufficient if you have oily or normal dry skin. And oily and normal skin beauties can get away with this in winters as well. But if you have dehydrated skin or dry to very dry skin this might not be sufficient for you. 48H moisture claim is boastful and rediculous and let’s just ignore it. It does not irritate my sensitive skin and neither cause any breakouts. BUT this is the only product from the range which failed to impress me and does not live upto the claims. Since it is advertised for all skin types and specially recommended for dry skin and it fails to fulfill the claims I’m ranking it low. Not a repurchase and not recommended for dry skin.

This is a good night cream, especially for those with dry skin. It feels very good going on. It's a bit heavy, but it feels like it's really moisturizing.

The both products are clinically proven to deliver 72h moisture, but while our Vitamin E Night Cream is suitable all skin types, our Vitamin E Intense Cream has been specifically developed and tested with dry to very dry skin in mind, and contains a higher percentage of oils and butters to reflect this.
