Is Civil 3D 2022 backwards compatible?
Civil 3D 2022 extends the longest backwards compatibility and sharing streak in the product's history. Not only does Civil 3D 2022 still use the AutoCAD 2018 DWG version, its drawings can still be opened all the way back through the Civil 3D 2018 release!
Is AutoCAD 2023 a new file format?
DWG is the native drawing file format used to store blocks and 2D/3D designs created with AutoCAD-based products and the DWG format is updated every few years.

Is Civil 3D compatible with Windows 11?
AutoCAD , Inventor , Revit, Civil 3D, 3ds Max, Fusion 360 , PowerMill and other Autodesk products in versions 2022, 2021 and 2020 are compatible with Windows 10, and most users don't have major problems using them also in Windows 11 [with the exception of minor graphical flaws in menu].
Can Civil 3D import to Revit?
Once you have done the Export from Civil 3D, link the DWG file in Revit then create the Toposurface: Go to a 3D View. From the "Massing and Site" ribbon tab, choose "Toposurface" From the "Modify | Edit Surface" ribbon tab, choose "Create from Import > Select Import Instance"
