Nov 30, 2011 Hello guys, I just downloaded MW3 on Steam and noticed right away it wasn't running right on my laptop. In single player and online, the game just lags and fps drops when a move my mouse, even on the lowest settings. My laptop should be running this game fine! I have not updated my GPU driver, actually I'm unsure if I even can because it as a
switchable ATi/Intel GPU, either way it's less than a year old and the diver should be still currant? Anyways here my specs. What could be going wrong to cause the game to lag like this? HP Pavilion Dv6t-CTO Intel i5 460m CPU Thanks guys, I appreciate the assistance. Joined Feb 6, 2007 · 12,460

8 GB DDR3 Memory
1 GB ATi Mobile Radeon 5650 GPU
Windows 7 64x
The CPU is fine, that'll probably run it without issue, but the GPU is way way waaaaay below the GTX260 on performance. It's actually below the 9800GTX

Yeah, unfortunately it won't, that GPU is bare minimum tbh. Considering that mid range GPU's from 5 years ago actually out perform it.

i can run mw2 multiplayer on my 4650M fine on low/medium settings. mw3 is basically the same game so i don't see why he'd have any problems.

Wow really?
The 1GB Mobile Radeon 5650 in my laptop runs my other Steam games: Half-Life 2, Bioshock, FEAR 2, Mass Effect 2 no problem at fully settings...
According to system requirements lab, it exceeds all specs...?

TEXTUR8s. I know this is a 2011 game but it is fun to play. I have experiencing a laglag while playing single play mission when I walk, shoot, and sprint. When I look up, it is not lag and look down. I lower the graphics in settings. I change to low and no. Call Of Duty MW3 Settings: Specs: Note: My drivers and utility in nvidia is updated
to the newest version. PLZ HELP M3 M8S BTW: I'm using a laptop

Your video card is pretty weak for gaming, could also be overheating. Check temps in the system with HWMonitor. Screen should be at 60hz not 64. You can try running it at 59 also, at times it causes the screen to run smoother.

your graphic card is not good for gaming , turn down the resolution of the game that might help
set it at lowest one and see if there is steel lagging or not
