Cách giới thiệu nghề nghiệp tiếng Anh
Cấu trúc được nhiều người sử dụng nhất có lẽ là: What is your job? Công việc của bạn là gì?
Cấu trúc trên chính xác về mặt ngữ pháp trong tiếng Anh, tuy nhiên, người bản ngữ gần như không bao giờ hỏi như vậy. Thay vào đó, người bản ngữ sẽ hỏi bằng cấu trúc câu:
- Câu hỏi: What do you do? Bạn làm nghề gì?
- Trả lời: Im a/an + danh từ chỉ nghề nghiệp Tôi làm .
Ví dụ:
- A: What do you do? Bạn làm nghề gì?
- B: Im a doctor. Tôi là bác sĩ.
Hoặc một cách khác để hỏi về nghề nghiệp có thể sẽ lịch sự hơn khi bạn muốn hỏi về thông tin cá nhân của một người:
- Câu hỏi: Can I ask what do you do? Tôi có thể hỏi bạn làm nghề gì được chứ?
- Trả lời: Yes. Im a + danh từ chỉ nghề nghiệp
Ví dụ:
- Can I ask what do you do?
- Yes, I'm a teacher.
Sau khi đã giới thiệu nghề nghiệp của bản thân, bạn cũng có thể giới thiệu thêm về nơi mình làm việc bằng cấu trúc:
I work at + nơi làm việc
Ví dụ:
- I work at a hospital. Tôi làm việc tại một bệnh viện.
- I work at a primary school. Tôi làm việc tại một trường tiểu học.
Nếu bạn làm việc cho một công ty lớn, được biết đến rộng rãi, bạn có thể sử dụng cấu trúc:
I work for + tên công ty
Ví dụ:
- I work for Samsung. Tôi làm việc cho Samsung.
- I work for Vingroup. Tôi làm việc cho Vingroup.
Một lời khuyên cho các bạn khi ai đó giới thiệu về nghề nghiệp của họ với bạn, đó là đừng ngần ngại đưa ra những lời nhận xét tích cực ngay sau đó.
Ví dụ:
- How interesting! Thật là thú vị
- That must be exciting! Điều đó thật là thú vị!
- Oh really? Ồ thật sao?
