How can you say on your profile that you have 5 years experience and an MCSA and not know how to copy a file over RDP

No Luck. i don't want to copy paste it on RDP session i just drag files on RDP session.

You can't drag and drop from desktop to RDP window. You can only copy n paste.

its the same concept. although, have you got Enhanced Session enabled on the VM, and you haven't stated which version of Windows Your Using, for the host and the VM. Alternatively you can use Copy-VMFile which interacts with the Hyper-V VMBus directly, so you can transfer files even if they are on a private Network Adapter, just make sure that the Guest Services is Enabled under the Integrated Services.

If I understand your query correctly, I would suggest you to have a look on our free Lepide remote admin tool that allows to transfer the files by compressing large data files and perform high speed data transfer putting less burden on existing infrastructure.

Thanks Garry for understanding.

I don't understand. This is something you could have figured out yourself in two seconds of trying it out.

I just feel like there's a troll in the building haha. I might be feeding a troll, but I want to help on the off chance it isn't a troll.
Pankaj, what are you trying to accomplish by dragging and dropping a file from your desktop to your RDP session window? Most people seem to be under the impression that you are trying to copy a file to the remote machine via drag and drop, is that right?

The copy/paste feature may not work if you group policies deny this. You could try adding local drives and copy that way.
