Lesson 1
What I have Learned
Thoughts on how multimedia makes studying literature
more exciting and meaningful
Multimedia is an interactive media that provides multiple ways
to represent information to the user in a powerful manner. It can
play the role of catalyst thereby stimulating interaction and an
ambiance conducive to collaboration and sharing experiences. It
is a representation of information in an attractive and interactive
manner with the use of a combination of text, audio, video,
graphics and animation. I believe that multimedia formats make
studying literature more exciting and meaningful because
through it we can expand our knowledge by multimedia
especially nowadays that technology has become one of the
important elements in the society. Through it we can actively
and collaboratively build knowledge structures using
technology. It can apply wide range of strategies to understand,
interpret, and evaluate text. Multimedia can provide a tool for
easing entry to a literary work. It can supply students with a
magnifying glass which to examine literary works and with the
aid of multiple forms of online assistance. Therefore,
multimedia formats makes studying literature more exciting and
meaningful because it helps students make sense of a writer’s
artistic crafting of a piece via access to a wealth of available
digital formats and designs.
