This shoe dons an upper of varying blue tones, with pink laces and lime green hits on the heel logo and forefoot tread. Not a colorway we usually see used in the Howard line, this may very well be the shoe Dwight plans to wear during his adidas World Tour this summer. That's just speculation, though.

What do you think of this look? Is it selling you on the Howard 5 or no?

UPDATE 9/2: New images via @DwightHoward bring a little clarity to the inspiration behind this colorway. The look was inspired by the colors of the household cleaner Windex. Like Windex, Dwight 'cleans' the glass, averaging 13 rebounds per game in his 10-year career. Expect a release soon.

The adidas D Howard 5 hasn’t been well received here, at Wear Testers, and while I agree that these look a bit bland for a signature, they don’t look as if they’ll be a bad performer.

adidas has utilized a modified SprintFrame along with some solid looking herringbone traction. I don’t know if they’ve modified the Next Gen PureMotion or if these are just considered flex grooves but we’ll see once they officially release information.
